Jim Castro
ABOUT ME
Jim Castro joined scouting as a youth in Brooklyn. As a young teen he later joined the Venturing program, where he earned the program’s pinnacle achievement, the Venturing Silver Award. He started his scouting career as a CIT at John E Reeves Cub World during its inaugural summer. Jim joined the Greater New York Councils team full time in 2015 where he served at the IT Manager and then promoted to Assistant Director of Support Service. This is Jim’s 31st year as a Scout. He has also brought his family into the program: His wife Robin is a Wolf Den Leader and son Michael is a Wolf Cub Scout.
