Wayne is the Director of Camping for the Greater New York Councils, overseeing the operations of the Ten Mile River Scouts Camps, Alpine Scout Camp and William H. Pouch Scout Camp. Wayne has been working at an involved in summer camps for 15 years in many different positions. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow.

Sarah’s scouting career started in the Jersey Shore Council working at their summer camp- Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation. Sarah worked as the office manager starting in the summer of 2013. She worked her last summer in 2017 with that council ending as the business manager. She worked as Camp Aquehonga’s office manager in 2018 and 2019 summers.
Sarah began working at the Greater New York Councils service center in October of 2019. She has since been promoted to the Assistant to Camping and Program.

Jim Castro joined scouting as a youth in Brooklyn. As a young teen he later joined the Venturing program where he earned the program’s pinnacle achievement the Venturing Silver Award. He started his scouting career as a CIT at John E Reeves Cub World during it’s inaugural summer. Jim joined the Greater New York Councils team full time in 2015 were he served at the IT Manager and then promoted to Assistant Director of Support Service. This is Jim’s 31st year as a Scout which he has also brought his family into the program his wife Robin (Wolf Den Leader) and son Michael (Wolf) are members of the program.
